MORTIFILIA: Death metal
as fate!
They
say that the third album is the most important for the future destiny
of the musical band. This talk may sound like a phrase, but there is
some truth on it. Bohemian band from Susice is branded as melodic
death metal rolling in the frantic pace. All this they made on the new
album to imaginary technical and sound perfection. 10 songs in
stronger half-hour can keep listener's attention. Evidence is just now
available on LP and CD.
Mortifilia exist 14 years and released three demos, one single,
many compilations, and three studio albums. The new album's name is "Fate"
and moves the band further in new ways but still in seemingly limited
boards of death metal. They didn't betray their style like many others,
hold the line, but sounds different.
The album is released on
two basic formats. Primary on LP, 180 grams black disk inserted into
inner black paper packaging with microtene filler (certainly a detail
that will be appreciated by collectors), drop down inlay with lyrics
and band photo. The outer packaging is in a form of gatefold, inside
with other large-format photograph of the band. As a bonus to each of
the strictly limited 333 copies is CD in cardboard case. CD is of
course also available separately.
Album was recorded in the
Pilsner studio Ex-Avik under the supervision of Pavel Brom,
mastered in the studio PyHa by Premysl Haas. Production was
under a perfectionist Miloš Bešta from Asmodeus. Cover plate
is in the traditional spirit of previous albums, although in
the oldest form. Texts reflect the negative phenomena, nitro
of individual and in descriptive way criticize the evil of
this world.
Live premiere of the new album will be on
Saturday 22.09.2012 in Susice with support of Slax and
Orchestra. Order by Magick Disk Musick (section
Offer), price
LP+CD 14 €; CD 4 €.
